The Elliptical Surf table is a result of Eames' many years experimentation with wire rods, which yielded a number of playful and functional breakthrough products in the 1950s. With its long and sleek profile, the Eames Elliptical table poses beautifully in front of a long sofa or in the middle of a chair grouping. It can also serve as a stage for everything from a flat screen TV to large flower vases.
Materials: The tabletop is made from birch veneer, sandwiched between high-pressure melamine laminate in black or white. The wire rod design base is made of polished stainless steel.
