As the other chairs in this collection, the Risom Lounge chair expresses a casual Scandinavian sensibility. Originally the chair was constructed from a birch frame and surplus parachute straps which were among the few materials available during the war. This is a true classic by Copenhagen born Jens Risom who took Danish modernism to the U.S.

Materials: The frame is made from solid wood with the seat and back in woven cotton straps.
