The PK 24 was designed in 1965 and put into production in 1967. The PK 24 is a typical Kjaerholm design in that it consists of independent elements; the base, the seat and the cushion. The seat simply lies on the frame, held by gravity and friction. The cushion hangs over the seat, balanced with a weight and the total impression is one of ingenious elegant design.
Materials: The frame has a base made from brushed stainless steel. The seat is made from rattan. The cushion is covered in leather and its balancing weight is made of stainless steel.
