This table is inpired by the boldly sublime Le Corbusier Glass Table (1928) was originally part of a revolutionary collection of furniture first shown at the 1929 Salon d' Automne in Paris. It has come to be a classic, one of the most important tables of the International Styles in the 20th century. The base is mad of aeronautical steel, welded in such a way as to create a seamlessly smooth,sculpted finish, perfect for use a a dining table or a work top. The tabletop is an impressive, thick rectangle temples glass, contributung to the near-perfect resolution of line, scale and proportion that makes this table an exceptional example of modern design.
