The Egg chair was introduced in 1958 for the lobby and reception of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The Egg chair truly represents the organic form typical of Arne Jacobsen and it is one of the most famous chairs among the classics and it has become synonymous with modern design furniture.

Materials: The Egg chair is made of polyurethane foam and has a loose seat cushion. The tilt mechanism is made of steel tubing and sprung steel and has a tilt handle made of polished stainless steel. The base consists of a satin-polished swivel with stainless steel tubing and a 4-star base injection molded aluminium.

This Australian & American Full Grain, Semi-aniline leather is soft to the touch, and very durable, and is 9mm-1.1mm thick.

Deluxe Leather
This Australian & American Bovine rawhide semi-aniline, lightly pigmented full grain leather is dyed without pigmentation, and will develop a beautiful patina look over time (a process that allows oxidation & exposure to light to bring out the richness of the dye and color potency). Our deluxe leather is 1.3mm-1.5mm thick.

Premium Leather
This European Bovine rawhide full grain, full aniline leather is our highest leather grade and is extra soft, extra durable, featuring a lush natural texture without the use of chemical spray after the aniline dying process. Our Premium Leather is 1.3mm-1.5mm thick.
